From combat veteran
to compassionate counselor.

George Boyd served in the United States Army as an infantryman, with a combat tour in Afghanistan. After coming home he answered a different calling — earning his Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work and dedicating his life to walking with others through the unseen war at home.

Founded on the belief that high-quality mental healthcare should be both genuine and accessible, Homefront Healing welcomes individuals from every background, culture, and faith. Authenticity, connection, humility, and trust guide every session.

Common Questions

You've got questions. That's a good place to start.

I've never done therapy. What can I expect?

Starting therapy can be difficult, especially if it's taken months — maybe years — just to recognize the need for help. Before your first session you'll receive an informed-consent document explaining the therapeutic process. Building trust is everything, and that's best accomplished through conversation. We're not life coaches and won't tell you what to do — but we will get in the trenches with you and walk step-in-step toward your goals.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. George is currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and Optum. Insurance benefits are billed and managed through Grow Therapy — a HIPAA-compliant virtual mental-health group that helps people find affordable care. You can expect email correspondence from Grow for billing.

What does a session cost?

50-minute individual sessions are $125. 60-minute couples sessions are $150. Financial limitations should never be a barrier to therapy — if you believe you may qualify, please inquire about our sliding-scale rates.

Can I do telehealth instead of in-person?

Absolutely. We use HIPAA-compliant telehealth software so you can meet from anywhere in Texas. In-person sessions tend to capture body-language and presence that screens can miss — but telehealth keeps care accessible whenever life gets in the way.
